Fresh and well portioned. Also great that they are open Mondays unlike a lot of other Mexican joints in the area.

I am posting this because people really need to know this. We were hopeful that we would get some decent Mexican food. It was not. We asked for ranchero chicken burrito. It came enclosed with rice and a few black beans. Very little chicken. The chicken was cubed. What??? Tasteless and no sour cream even though we asked. Yellow rice. Quesadillas were bland. If there was a Taco Bell around, I would rather go there. That actually would have been better. So sad. Need a major over haul. Don’t be confused by other reviews. Trust

For a place called the “whole enchilada”, their enchiladas honestly suck. The “rancheros” sauce was just salsa. You get two little enchiladas and some crunchy rice for $9. Have passed by a number of time and finally stopped to try it, won’t be stopping here again. I’ll stick with making my own at home

I love this place! The food is always so good and fresh. Everything is made to order and it comes out fast. They are also eco conscious and have 100% recycled napkins.

Ordered a beef burrito and the service was excellent. The issue I found was there was lots of rice and lettuce but very little beef. I’m one and done😂

I don't know if this is the norm at this location but the food was terribly dry and lacked flavor. I don't think I've ever had such bland Mexican in my life. I don't tend to leave a negative review but this was not a good dining experience at all. If I remember correctly the tables outside were also pretty dirty and had bird droppings that we had to clean.

This little hole in the wall restaurant serves up fresh hot and delicious authentic Mexican delicacies prepared right before your eyes. The portions are generous. Priced right; quick friendly service ; a must stop after a day at the beach

The food was not good and not worth my money. I could make better at my own house. I wouldn't go back. And who charges extra for guac, sour cream, and added toppings when you're already ordering food that should come with it anyways? Ridiculous.

Good Mexican fast food place. Good, tasty, delicious rice bowls, and Burritos and Tacos. Nice friendly customer service and fast service.

If you live in the area or are visiting, you MUST come to The Whole Enchilada! It's a little "mom and pop" eatery that has an abundance of options. There is limited seating indoors but on a nice day you could eat outside. I highly recommend the burritos!

We love eating at the Whole Enchilada. Great to order out or eat in or if the weather is just right you can eat outside. It's never too crowded and they're very quick. Food is great selection is great. And pretty healthy too

Rice in the burrito was cold. Quesadilla was very dry with very little chicken and cheese. Staff was not very welcoming or friendly. (My boyfriend and I were the only ones in there). Had to pay extra for sour cream for the quesadilla. What kind of place have quesadillas on their menu but then make you pay extra for sour cream?! Overpriced for what it was. Will not come here again!

Food is always good. Overpriced if not the daily special. Wish the burritos can with some chips and salsa to justify the price.

We had a great vegan meal here!! They were able to make us us a veggie burrito & vegetarian chili burrito. Both were delicious and filling. This is a mainly take out place, but in the warmer months (like today) they have outdoor seating for you to enjoy.

This has become my go-to place for lunch. They have an excellent variety of dishes and it's all fresh and delicious. The owner and his staff are polite and prepare the food quickly while you wait. Their chicken burrito bowl is fantastic.

Wow. Every dish is simple and amazing. Each bite is stuffed with delicious ingredients. Even the chips and salsa were easily a 10 for me. Also, if you are going to order the chips, get the guacamole and cheese too. Great combo. Thanks TWE!

Drove back because the homemade salsa sauce was good, but the first think the man said when I ask for more sauce is it cost extra. Mad because he didn't even put a lot of sauce on my burrito. Rather go to the one in Guilford Ct instead when I ask for more sauce, they just gave it to me without paying for it. Also to top it off it was better the first time I came to this location. Second time not so good and without the sauce it doesn't taste good. I wasted $7.98 for nothing smh

Great food. Fast service. Chicken is a touch dry . Pricing is a touch high for a fast food place but in fairness thats connecticut shoreline for ya. My daughter loves the refried bean burrito.

The food was fresh, perhaps not full of spices and herbs to add a lot of flavor that mask the taste like we as consumers are use to but it was simple, good, and filling. The atmosphere was nice, it was quite small but everything was clean and well kept and the employees were friendly. For a small place and a quick bite, I was very surprised.

Really disappointed. Very bland. As someone else noted, we were especially disappointed in the namesake enchiladas, which had salsa instead of enchilada sauce.

The employees were nice. This is why it was a 2 star. I did not like the food. I was expecting to get a normal enchilada, but they did not I use the normal red sauce. All they used was squished up tomato sauce. I will nor be eating here again.

Worst taco I have ever eaten, dry unseasoned beef, cold grocery store tortilla, dry tasteless rice. Not even any salsa But there was plain hot sauce and a vinegary Verde.

Love this place. Always quick service even when there is a line out the door. Nachos and burritos are the best.
